Job Title: Senior Costing Manager – Billing & Tendering

Relevant Industry Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in Commercial Interior Fit-Out Projects (Mandatory)
Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹70,000 per month (Salary will be offered based on the candidate's last drawn CTC and relevant experience.)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Costing Manager – Billing & Tendering to lead the commercial costing function for interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, tendering, billing, budgeting, commercial analysis, and project cost control.
This role is critical in ensuring project profitability through accurate commercial planning, value engineering, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders.

Primary Objectives
- Prepare accurate project cost estimates before project execution.

- Monitor labour, material, subcontractor, and overhead costs.
- Support management with commercial planning and strategic decision-making.
- Manage project billing and tender documentation efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
1. Cost Estimation & Tendering
- Prepare accurate project cost estimates by analysing drawings, BOQs, specifications, and client requirements.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, pricing strategies, and tender submissions.
- Estimate material, labour, subcontractor, logistics, and overhead costs.
- Ensure commercial proposals align with company profitability objectives.
2. BOQ Preparation & Quantity Surveying
- Prepare and validate BOQs, quantity take-offs, and detailed cost sheets.
- Perform quantity extraction from architectural and interior drawings.
- Conduct rate analysis and measurement verification.
- Monitor quantity variations throughout project execution.
3. Budget Planning & Cost Control
- Develop project budgets and monitor expenditure throughout execution.
- Track project costs against approved budgets.
- Identify commercial risks and cost overruns.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Present cost reports and profitability analysis to management.
4. Billing & Commercial Management
- Prepare client billing schedules and contractor billing documentation.
- Verify project bills and payment certifications.
- Monitor project revenue, billing milestones, and collections.
- Maintain commercial records, contracts, and documentation.
5. Vendor Cost Analysis & Procurement Support
- Evaluate vendor quotations and compare market pricing.
- Support procurement teams during commercial negotiations.
- Maintain vendor rate databases and historical costing records.
- Recommend cost optimization opportunities without compromising quality.
6. Value Engineering & Profitability Improvement
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Recommend alternative materials and execution methods.
- Participate in commercial feasibility studies and design reviews.
- Support strategic commercial decisions to improve project profitability.
7. Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Design, Projects, Procurement, Finance, Sales, Consultants, and Clients.
- Provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resolve commercial and costing-related issues proactively.
- Ensure alignment between budgets, procurement plans, and project execution.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Additional certifications in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, or Commercial Management will be an added advantage.
