Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations from our IDA Nacharam, Hyderabad facility.

This role will be responsible for the overall leadership, operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and strategic management of the warehouse, which serves as the central hub for storage and dispatch of school-related products.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) integrated with an end-to-end ERP platform, ensuring accurate inventory management, streamlined warehouse processes, and efficient dispatch operations. The role requires a hands-on leader capable of driving operational excellence, managing warehouse teams, improving productivity, and supporting the organization's rapid expansion.


Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Lead end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch.
  • Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Monitor warehouse productivity and implement best practices to improve performance.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless inventory availability.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock movements, investigate variances, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Conduct periodic, cycle, and annual physical stock audits.
  • Ensure 100% inventory accuracy through robust inventory control practices.

Process Improvement

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
  • Optimize warehouse workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Support warehouse capacity planning and future expansion initiatives.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational objectives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and drive employee accountability.
  • Train employees on warehouse procedures, inventory handling, and safety protocols.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and documentation standards.
  • Maintain adherence to health, safety, and statutory regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare inventory reports, stock reconciliations, operational dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Analyse warehouse data to identify trends and support strategic decision-making.
  • Present operational insights and recommendations to management. 

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, supply chain, or inventory control.
  • Proven experience in managing warehouse operations and leading large warehouse teams.
  • Experience working with automated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) integrated with ERP platforms is essential.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP-based inventory management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock reconciliation.

  • Telugu – Mandatory
